Lights Out!
More love from the Union Station series. This is the same room that is in my previous digital image that I posted. However, in this version I used film and metered for the light in the windows rather than the ambient light of the room. I really liked the results. The floor was so shiny that the reflections almost look like they are on water. The room itself is quite breath taking. This portion of the station is cordoned off to the public. To the left of this part of the room are ticket booths from yesteryear. The way the room has been preserved, easily lends itself to envisioning what it must have been like back in the height of it's use.
Again, this image was taken with the Hasselblad and film.
